03 — Program
Intensive masterclasses and lectures by leading voices in digital art, Web3, and creative industries. From AI tools and collector relationships to artist branding and creative technology — participants gain practical knowledge and fresh perspectives that reshape their approach to art-making. Hands-on sessions in unexpected mediums — clay, silversmithing, traditional instruments — push artists beyond their comfort zones and unlock new creative pathways.
Journeys across the island that go far beyond sightseeing. Traditional purification rituals at ancient temples. Balinese music sessions with local masters. Visits to artist villages in Ubud where generations of craftsmen have shaped their practice. A Nyepi-inspired day of complete silence — no phones, no music, no conversation — to reset and reconnect with inner creative sources. Each experience weaves the island's spiritual and artistic traditions into the fabric of the residency.
A space where emerging and established artists collide, challenge each other, and create together. Collaborative projects that blur the boundaries between disciplines — from collective NFT submissions to spontaneous creative experiments. Daily proximity breeds unexpected partnerships: photographers work with painters, AI artists collaborate with traditional sculptors. The residency becomes a laboratory for ideas that none could have conceived alone.
A professional exhibition at one of Bali's most prominent contemporary art galleries, presenting works created during the residency. Each piece carries the imprint of the month — the conversations, the rituals, the sleepless nights, the breakthroughs. Collectors, local art community, and Web3 enthusiasts gather for an opening that marks not an ending, but a beginning of these artworks' journey into the world.
Twelve artists sharing a villa for a month. Rooftop evenings and poolside conversations. Barbecues that turn into philosophical debates. Pizza parties with local creators and Web3 builders. A retreat to the other side of the island to reset perspectives. The residency totem built from objects each artist gathered — a physical symbol of collective memory. What begins as a group of strangers transforms into a creative family, with bonds that extend far beyond the residency walls.
A professional documentary crew embedded throughout the residency, capturing not just the art but the transformation behind it. Artist editorials that tell each creator's story. Teaser films that become artworks in themselves. Media presence that amplifies the residency's voice — trending on X, featured in art publications, reaching audiences across the globe. Every moment documented becomes part of a larger narrative about what happens when artists are given space, time, and community to create.

Founder & Curator
Kirill Pobedin is a curator, artist, and producer, and the founder of the Bali Art Residency.
Over the last two years, Kirill has organized international exhibitions in Paris, Milan, New York, Belgium and Bali, and built projects that connect digital art with the traditional art world. As an educator, he has helped over 250+ artists enter the NFT space, many of whom later exhibited globally and developed successful careers.
Kirill launched the Bali Art Residency as a non-commercial initiative focused on artistic growth, community, and cross-cultural exchange. The residency has already produced significant milestones: partnerships with platforms like SuperRare, international exhibitions, and documentaries.
His mission is simple: create spaces where artists feel supported, inspired, and empowered to produce their best work.
Co-Organizer
Bastien is a cryptonative digital artist and Bali Art Residency co-organizer.
Having launched his career in mid-2022, Bastien quickly gained recognition with his style of fuzzy nostalgia and moody scenes from the turn of the millennium. Following his genesis drop, he debuted at NFT NYC just a month later, followed by exhibitions in Prague, Amsterdam, Paris, Lisbon, Bali, and Los Angeles.
In 2024, he was invited as one of the 12 artists of the first year of Bali Art Residency, creating "The Grind", a dynamic artwork collected by a future patron of the residency.
On the residency team, Bastien handles operational support and organizational logistics to help artists bring their projects to life, drawing on his experience as both former participant and organizer.
Filmmakers & Visual Storytellers
Hannah and Dima are a filmmaker duo based in Barcelona, working at the intersection of cinema, visual experimentation, and world-building. With backgrounds in directing, cinematography, and VFX, they have worked across feature films, documentaries, music videos, and commercial productions.
They explores themes of philosophical knowledge about the nature of human consciousness and death, combining cinematic storytelling with research-driven narratives.
At the core of their work is a belief that storytelling can shift perception, create dialogue, and inspire meaningful change.
